Congratulations to Ahmad Shady, Senior Practitioner and Manager of Immigration Matters at Longton Legal, for being recognised with two prestigious accolades by the Migration Institute of Australia.
Ahmad, a seasoned immigration law professional, was awarded the additional accreditation of Associate Fellow of the Migration Institute of Australia. A status only currently held by 17 immigration lawyers and registered migration agents.
The Associate Fellowship is only granted to those who have made significant contributions to the migration profession and was awarded to Ahmad to recognise his long and exceptional tenure as an immigration practitioner.
In addition to that, Ahmad was also granted the Henry Giblett Award. This award is for outstanding contribution in the area of Continuing Professional Development/Continuing Legal Education. Henry Giblett was an outstanding teacher who became a Migration Agent prior to the establishment of the MIA and took a foundation interest in CPD courses for the migration advice profession. This award celebrates his contribution. Ahmad is the seventeenth member in the history of the institute to receive this award.
Ahmad enjoys complex cases and has quite a diverse experience in several verticals in the immigration law space, and currently leads our team of immigration lawyers and agents.
